Christakis | 2.706m

Christakis summit is located on the northern side of Olympus mountain and west of Skolio summit (2.904m), in between the Megali Gourna and Mikra Kazania.

It was named in honor of Armatolou Christaki who was killed from the Turkish at 1897 in the area. According to another version Christakis took the leap to Mikra Kazania in order not to be captivated.

The approach can be made either from the summit Skolio (2.904m) or from the homonym refuge (2.550m) which is placed on the mountain peak (hiking about 1 hour / no path).
